Do you want the steady hand of Experience to keep the ship steady, specially when the vessel hit rough waters, Or, do you think it is better to have the flair, flamboyance and risk taking of Potential?
It is a tough choice and so often the answer appears to be "it depends" :-)
It depends on:
- the type of business you are in
- the risk threshold ie whether a business where taking risk (and failing while doing so) is considered a good thing.
- your own style as well as those around you
- whether it is a short term or long term stint
